Hi Ashley. In July, I purchased a $1200 rocker recliner. A week after delivery, a defective rivet snapped apart sending my new chair crashing to the ground. Half a year later, my chair still lies broken. I have worked with customer service over the many months trying desperately to have my chair repaired. Promises have not been kept. This week, I was told that I had waited long enough would receive a new chair. Later, I was told that the recliner was discontinued. I only want Ashley to make this right and deliver on the furniture I purchased. Please help. CHRIS POTTER Kingwood TX

I brought a bedroom set my delivery time was from 3pm -7pm I called because no one showed up they told me my delivery time been changed to 8pm -9:30pm again no one showed up I will be going back to Ashley for a refund WTF

They sent me the wrong bed frame by selling me a frame that needed a box spring but I specifically wanted a platform bed. They wanted me to purchase a box spring to resolve their mistake after I spent $7000
My furniture delivery time was between 9am and 1pm. It arrived at 7:30pm
The driver of the delivery truck backed into my electric gate and bent the shit out of it. Estimate $600
I put in a claim for the gate to be repaired and it's almost a month and I haven't heard a word. I have called twice.

I recently purchased a trundle twin bed for my granddaughter and after being told by my sales consultant that I would have the bed within two weeks and this being on April 1, 2013 and just now receiving it on May 27, 2013, it was not only the wrong item but the bed had deep scratches with black markings! I was wanting a trundle bed so that their could be a spare bed, but if i would have known I was going to get a bed with drawers underneath I would have never purchased this bed. I would have just went to Rooms to Go. I had already heard real bad ratings about Ashley Furniture but when my granddaughter and I went to the store and I seen the way her face lit up by seeing this bed I just knew I was going to do what I could to get it for her. But if i would have known that I was going to be treated the way have been I would have NEVER had purchased the bed! Everytime I have contacted the store the lady who answers the phone is so rude and very unprofessional! I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'ve also been in contact with the customer relations department and Yvonne has been very ugly and rude as well. Their statements is your going to love this place, well with business and merchandise like this who is going to love a company like that.

I am highly disappointed with the way things have been handled.
A year ago I purchased what was to me a very expensive table and 6 chairs at Ashley's. It has a leaf in it and I left the leaf in it for the year because I liked it. I decided to see what it would be like without the leaf and unfortunately the table will not slide together properly. Well I called thinking not a big deal because I did purchase the "extended" warranty. WELL after MANY phone calls and much frustration they will do NOTHING to help. I am only 1 month past my 1 year warranty and the extended warranty I paid A LOT extra for covers NOTHING!!!! I would think this company would like their customers to remain happy with their products therefore standing by them. This had nothing to do with something I did to the product so because it's not damaged the extended warranty will NOT cover it and I'm being punished because I didn't take the leaf out sooner and I'm only 1 month past the manufacturer warranty. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and the sad thing is I made another very big purchase recently (purchased a very expensive mattress and box spring) and after all this I will NEVER purchase through Ashley's again. I definitely do not recommend the extended warranty as well.

I am so DISAPPOINTED with Ashley Furniture! I order a new living room set in Feb. and here it April a week before Easter and NO FURNITURE! When my family arrives for Easter dinner I will not any furniture for them to seat on. I don't understand how this company can stay in business with all the bad reviews they are getting. I am telling all my family, friends and 500 people I have on facebook about how Ashley Furnitutre handles there business.

for approx 3 weeks ive been trying to take delivery of furniture that i ordered and financed..evedently there was a mistake made re;delivery address.cant get any help to resolve by regional finance or store.store personal wont help or return calls.at this point working with finance to void sale.cant handle anymore.its easier to purchase house than to buy 1000.00 worth of furniture..never again will i make this mistake,nor will my friends..sincerly edward boerner..san antonio tx

Sectional couch order 01/16, specifically told a locking system is included to prevent sectional from sliding apart. Couch delivered 2/16, withOUT the locking mechanism. Customer service ordered parts, took an additional 3 weeks to get a technician here. Technician states wrong parts were ordered. Call again, late April, customer service sends the WRONG parts a 2nd time.
Told mid-May a technician would come out to address the locking system. I have made 3 payments on an incomplete piece of furniture, not a priority, not apologized to, treated as "not my problem" by customer service. First and last Ashley Furniture purchase.
Disgusted with the blatan disregard for my time and energy!

THE FRANCISEE IN HOUSTON TX IS A LIAR AND A CON ARTIST.
THIS FRNCISEE'S EMPLOYEE'S ARE CON ARTISTES,LIARS,NOT EDUCATED ON THEIR PRODUCT,AND NO NOTHING OF THE WARRANTY AND WHAT IT COVERS. THEY JUST SELL IT THAT AWAY THEY CAN GET A COMMISION OFF OF IT.
Well I have bought over 6k worth of stuff from Ashley's and will not buy another piece of junk from them. I had bought a dresser drawer set and the middle door for no reason had only bow's in it fell down. I called the extended warranty company and they proceed to tell me that that was not a covered issue after the sales man said everything was covered.
So I proceeded to contact the office in Houston Texas and have been getting the run around on my refund for the warranty that their sales man misrepresented to me.
Mrs. Connie Simmons the Customer Service Manager will not even call me back and she has only followed through on 2 of the promises that she made me and that was only after I started to email the corporate office.
So sad that a big Corporation like Ashley's is not more involved with the customer complaints the only thing you get from them is we will contact the franchisee who then does nothing at all.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY ARE A JOKE...................................

I bought a dining room set back in February of 2014. Have not had any thing but problems since purchase. The stain on the chair and table rub off at the slightest touch. Contacted customer service and it was the worst. Kept shifting me to different people without result. Also, had problems with finance they tried to double charge me for a purchase already paid for. I would advise anyone not to shop at Ashley furniture their furniture is substandard and over priced.

Ashley Furniture has pushed my delivery date back three times so far. This time, I wasn't even notified that they weren't coming until I called the store. I even had someone call me this morning asking if I still wanted the rest of my furniture since they wouldn't be able to deliver one of the items because it was damaged. I told them yes and we still wanted the same hours for the delivery. They said they would call me 20-40 minutes before it arrived. When I called the store (since corporate is closed) they told me the distribution center had a note that the delivery was canceled because of a damaged piece. I can't get ahold of anyone who can help and I'm sick and tired of this less than par customer service team. With the amount of items we purchased and the amount of money spent, this is unacceptable. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

The financing is inconsequential when you can't get your order delivered. I have been waiting 2 weeks for my sectional couch to be delivered due to limitations thru Nitro distribution center. Do not deliver on Sun and Mon and after they were going to arrive at my home last night almost 4 hrs late (9:00 pm) I had to cancel delivery. Now being told by rep at local Ashley store that it will be my responsibility to accommodate their schedule to attempt yet again which may be late next week. Over $1800.00 for a couch and I have already donated my old couch to Restore of Huntington so I have an empty living room and zero help or compassion from local store manager. Never again will I do business with this company

I purchased furniture on 4/11, paid cash for a bedroom set. Scheduled a delivery for 4/23, on 4/18 they called to say the box spring would have to be delivered on 4/26, but they would give me a temporary one until it came in. On 4/22 the day before delivery, they called to say the bed rails didn't come in, and I said, what the hell can I do with a bed with no bed rails, don't bring anything until you have it all, and rescheduled for 4/30. They delivered on 4/30 only to discover that one of my nightstands only had two legs, two were missing. Then when I called, they told me I have to wait 7 - 10 business days to get them. I said unacceptable, called my local store that I purchased the bedroom from to speak with the manager, and was ignored. I will never purchase anything from Ashley's again.

I purchased a warranty plan with my furniture that had a five year money back guarantee. If you did not use the plan you would get the cost of the plan back in the form of an in-store credit. The store where I purchased the furniture closed before the five years was up, I made a phone call and was assured I would be able to use the credit at any Ashley Furniture. The five years is now up and no Ashley Furniture I've contacted will honor the warranty. I made a call to the Ashley Headquarters and was told there is nothing they can do for me. Be forewarned, Ashley DOES NOT stand behind it's affiliates.

Bought a dining room table several weeks ago...I have gotten sick from the excessive formaldehyde...it took several phone calls to get the information of this chemical, had to give serial number of dining table only to be told it was made in Vietnam...finally was able to get a manager after making yet again several calls, who stated the table is made of composite wood, and is coated with latter chemicals...the fumes continue to exist, although I have kept the windows open...I am very disappointed in the quality and price of the item.

I was unfortunate to purchase three sofas and a bed from the Ashley Furniture store in Brandon Florida. The sofas have been nothing but a disaster. The leather has split and separated this has happened to every cushion on the set. I bought the warranty and when I spoke to the store they passed in off to customer service. In two years I have yet to get a returned call or email from these people. I will have to replace the sofas after just a couple years.
Never, never will go to Ashley or recommend Ashley to anyone. The furniture is junk and their customer service is a laugh. If I had a family and heavy use I would be ok but my kids are gone, I am single and rarely even sat on the ruined sofas
Stay away from this company!

This is absolutely the very worst furniture company in the United States. They take your money. Then they promise you a delivery date within a couple of days. Oh.....ooops, we don't have it. It will now be another 2 to 3 weeks. No, it's not ok. We need the love seat we purcahsed....NOW!If you cannot get it, then we would please like our money back. Ok. Go to get a cashier's check, or cash,(sine we paid cash), and oopps again, we can't give you your money back yet as it's in a manifest. Well, the next time we go to get a piece of furniture, rest assured, it will NOT be from Ashley's. And, we will have it delivered before we pay. How many people can go to a grocery store, purchase $1,500.00 in groceries, take those groceries home, and then go back to the store to pay for those items...after we have eaten them? Same difference. Now, either we get our money back, or there will be a lawsuit!

I received a confirmation call from your customer service center at 1:07 pm on Tuesday, 04 22 14. I called and spoke to Kyra to confirm the delivery for Wed, 04 23 14, she said it could not be done. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she said there were none available and she would contact a supervisor and call me back. She did not.
My complaint is I worked hard to purchase my very first furniture set at $2300.00. I took off today specifically to receive the furniture and now I can not get it. I am disappointed because when I do talk to my friends and family in my new neighborhood about this experience, it will be marred because a huge billion dollar company like Ashley Furniture would not, not that it can not, it would not make an exception and deliver my furniture today, the day that I took to get my furniture.
I woke up this morning and I thought I would be ok waiting for my furniture, I am not, I feel unsatisfied and disappointed.

I ordered furniture from the Macon, GA store and received bad customer service. It took the store almost two months to get my entire order in the area. The initial problem was that it was not in stock. The second issue was that the dresser and mirror was dropped and damaged in shipping. I finally went to the store to pick up the mirror after multiple trips inquiring about the product. I then returned the product because it was the wrong mirror. On Saturday 22 Aug 2015, I was told they would have the mirror ready on Tuesday. I did not receive a phone call nor did anyone attempt to call me. i returned to the store on 29 Aug Sat and explained to one of the customer service person that I made plans to contact the corporate office about the issue. I called an area code 608 and explained my issue. On the following Monday, I received a call from someone in the Macon, GA store telling me they have been trying to call me to deliver my mirror. I hung up on the person and spoke with my sales person who was more truthful with me. Yes, the person on the other end did try to call me but it was the Monday (2 days later) after I contacted the central office at area code 608. I will never deal with Ashely in Macon again.

This company is a disappointment I will not tell anyone to ever go to this store. I called the so call corporate headquarters to be told that its the main factory. The guy gives me a fake number the was supposedly the actual corporate office and now I'm being told that store is privately own. I would have to call that store and get the corporate number from them. All this money we paid,I'm going to get it back.

LIKE MOST OF ASHLEY CUSTOMER WE WERE PROMISED A DELIVERY DATE FOR OUR FURNITURE AND IT DID NO HAPPEN ON THE DAY WE PROMISED. WHEN I CALLED OVER TO THE DISTRIBUTION CENTER IN BAKERSFIELD,CA WE WERE TOLD OUR ITEMS WOULD COME IN ON A LATER DATE! WE EXPERIENCED EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A GIRL THAT TAKES CARE OF THE DELIVERIES HER NAME VANESSA! SHE ABSOLUTELY WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO FIND OUT WHEN OUR FURNITURE WAS COMING SHE WAS FAST ACCURATE AND RETURNED PHONE CALLS KEPT US WELL INFORMED . WE HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH HER AND HER SETTING UP OUR DELIVERY! WE WILL BE BACK BECAUSE OF THE SERVICE SHE HAD PROVIDED US. OUR DELIVERY WAS VERY RECENT 12/19/13.
