Company of JC Penney is a renowned American chain of departmental store. It is a company based in the region of Plano in Texas. Almost 1,107 stores operate in all the major states in the US, under a chain of this company. Presently, this company chain has its departmental stores located in almost all the shopping malls in the suburban region of the United States. Penneys, as it is commonly known, used to operate several outlets providing discounts and even a business of catalog at the initial stages. Before the advent of the shopping mall concept, the stores of Penneys were mostly situated in downtown areas of the US.

I am disgusted. My order has not arrived. It has been more than 1 month and no one knows where to find the order. In these days of technology and GPS this is totally unacceptable. I have been lied to, and spent several hours on the phone with no results. I ordered a mattress and box spring for my brother who was coming out of the hospital. I had to give him my bed since the order did not arrive. They cannot tell me when the bed will arrive. I was told I could not get a refund because the order was already shipped. There is no where to escalate my problem, everyone in corporate is hiding.

Welcome Back Penney's.........
Received booklet in the mail last week, and was happy to see the tried and true Penney's brands are returning to your stores. Will look forward to shopping for the St. John's Bay, Worthington and hopefully Cabin Creek women's sportswear.

I have been so disappointed in the changes Penney\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s made to their styles, name brands etc. It is geared for young people only and the brands that I always bought are no longer available. I liked the St. John\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Bay active wear, nice warm up suits that were classy and stylish.
The pants and jackets came in tall that I need. Also the SJB turtlenecks in tall. I am an ice skating coach and could always depend on getting my teaching clothes at Penney\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s and now they are no longer available for me. Please bring some of the old items back!!!!!!!!!!

I received a gift card for Christmas. I used some of it and went back to purchased something else. I had money on the gift card but was told there was nothing on it. I went home and called the company and was told there should have been money on the card. I ask how can I get my money back. The corp. office informed me they would call the store I made the purchases at and get my money back. But I have not heard from them. I called today and was treated very nasty like I steal from they. Are you all so bad off you would steal from your customers. I will never ask for another JCPenny card. I am done.

I purchased over $1,100 worth of curtains and hardware online and another $400 in the store. Store associates were extremely helpful and offered exceptional service; however my encounter with the online service was not as complimentary! All of the online orders came with issues, i.e. damaged package that was credited back to my account NOT reordered as I was told. This damaged package was returned to JCP and the wrong quantities and products were credited back to my account which took over an hour on the phone to get rectified. Another online order was for store pickup which the wrong quantity was delivered. I was at the store for over an hour to get THIS resolved. Curtain rods were ordered online for a higher price than the store offered. I was told I could cancel the order and re-order for the lower store price. Needless to say THIS didn't happen, the first order was not cancelled and I had 2 separate orders for the same curtain rods being delivered to my home! I spoke with a supervisory at Customer Relations in the corporate office and was offered $100 gift card for all of my trouble! Not completely happy I requested that she discuss this issue with "upper management" for a better resolution. When I called to follow up I was told by a "floor supervisory" at the Columbus center that she consulted with Customer Relations and the best they could do is $100. I requested to speak with "upper management" and was told that the Customer Relations rep "didn't want to take her call" and $100 is all they would do. When ask why they didn't want to take her call she replied "they are a busy department" (no kidding, if others are encountering the same problems). All that said . . . JCP corporate handled this situation very poorly - a minimal discount for maximum headaches!

My review is 2 fold, I ordered something and did not receive my discount.i was on hold for ever . My call
Was answered by Betty from Milwaukee, she was rude and refused to help then hung up on me after requesting to speak to a supper visor. I had to call and wait all over again. Finally spoke to a lovely women Candice from Milwaukee. She made notations and told me the problem I had would be corrected in a couple days.gave me a reference #. She was great. I feel heard and respected. I was truly a step away from never buying jcp again. Thankfully Candice saved the day

After many years of being a nap shopper I am shredding my credit card. If the company feels it can close all their stores in the Upper peninsula of Michigan they obviously don't want my business. There is no way anyone will travel at least 100 miles to shop there. No wonder Wal-Mart is winning.

I was in a local retail JC Penny store to find it unable for me to even get my wheelchair down the isles. The employee kindly ask if she could help, but really; why should a disabled shopper have to get an employee to bring them an item because the stores isles are not ADA American Disability Act followed by having ALL ISLES AND PATHWAYS 36"- 42". Why should this be okay? Well it really isn't okay but deters disabled shoppers from being able to have the same experience as anyone else, but in this case the discrimination is very obvious on the disabled, how rude.

PLACED AN ONLINE ORDER RECEIVED EMAIL CONFIRMATION VERIFYING THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD, TRIED TO CHECK ONLINE STATUS, ENTERED MY EMAIL WHICH THEY SENT THE CONFIRMATION TO AND KEEP GETTING IN BRIGHT RED LETTERS, NO SUCH EMAIL EXISTS IN THEIR SYSTEM, ENTERED MY ORDER NUMBER PER CONFIRMATION AND GOT MY SECOND EMAIL IN BRIGHT RED LETTERS NO SUCH ORDER EXISTS, CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PHONE FOR ALMOST AN HOUR NOBODY COULD LOCATE THE ORDER OR EMAIL ADDRESS OR NAME NOW I WILL HAVE TO DISPUTE THE CHARGE SINCE IT IS INVISIBLE

I purchased a refrigerator in Nov 2016,it was delivered on December 3rd. We were told by the delivery men they could not hook up the ice maker because there was not a shut off valve in the back of the refrigerator. We had a ice maker on the old refrigerator. The delivery man said we had 3 choices (1) cancel (schedule another appointment or (3 leave the refrigerator in the middle of the floor. We called the sales man and the manager. The salesman said he would give the message to the manager. The manager called once, said he would give us a discount when everything was finalized. We scheduled delivery o Saturday Jan 9, 2017. The refrigerator was delivered and installed, but there was a dent and scratch on the refrigerator and they did not remove the old refrigerator. It is still sitting in my garage. The deliveryman pushed the refrigerator to the wall so we did not see the dent until he left nor the scratch. We called the sales man Ricky and told him the problem, he said he would give the message to the Manager. On Monday January 11, I called, left a message for the Manager to call me. I went to the store on Sunday January 17, left a message with Ricky for the Manager again. Today is January 29th and I still have not heard from the Manager. I filed a complaint with BBB on December 11, 2016. I called BBB on January 24th and was told JC Penny's complaints went to headquarters. I still have not received any satisfaction.
