On Friday July 11th we decided at the last minute to eat at Joe's at 4250 E. Sunset Blvd. Henderson NV. Our waitress, Christa was excellent. She made sure we were happy, but did not crowd us. She was pleasant and had a great sense of humor. Her people skills are amazing. We were very satisfied with her as well as the general manager, Paul Luedtke, who personally came to our table to ensure that we were enjoying our meal and happy with the service. Although we have both had bad experiences at other Joe's, we were very pleased with the excellent service and hospitality given us during our visit.

I am disgusted, offended and will NEVER, EVER patronize your restaurant again. You have the audacity to have a slave hanging on your placemat with "All I said is I don't like the gumbo".
You company is insensitive and RACIST ON EVERY LEVEL. Whoever did this needs to be fired and I do want to know who is responsible for this racist image that is permanently placed on your tables.
I will be contacting the Attorney General's Office, the Secretary of State, the Mn. Human Rights Department, Better Business Bureau and anyone else that has an impact. I will be contacting your Board of Directors as well.
You are racist and the only way to combat that is to boycott.

Tonight we went to your Newport Beach, CA restaurant. I was so looking forward to the crab dinner that I crave!!! It was so salty and we couldn't eat it. Your Manager Meagan Blackwell, and server Greg were so amazing. they completely understood. Meagan came to speak with us and took the item off the bill, on top of that offered us an appetizer and desert for our next visit. Your customer service is beyond expectations and greatly appreciated. Joes is one of my fav places to go eat. I just want to let u know how much we appreciated your staff. They deserve a raise!!!!

Joes crab in Daytona beach. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I have never felt as if I was talking advantage of more then I was here. I got the all you can eat crab legs. I got 3 cluster of over cooked small crab leg with the first order. I asked for a second order I waited 15 min for the second one and they bring out one cluster witch is 4 crab legs. So I asked the waiter what the deal was and she informed me that they could only bring out one cluster at a time when you get all you can eat. So here I am a 6'5 270 pound man eating eating 4 crab legs every 15 min and paying for all you can eat my wife ordered the same thing. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. I feel that y'all are taking huge advantage of you customer with the all you can eat crab legs. If you can't meet the supply and demand it should not be on the menu.

My Family and I (15) reserved a table for 8/29/2015 on 8/27/2015. @ 4pm
specifically for my cousins 44th birthday party, which is the very first time there for us all!
When I made the reservation "I asked" them what party favors they provide like maybe singing, cake etc...And was told yeah we can do that for your party.
We arrived at 4:26 pm because of traffic and its where abouts. When we got there they made us wait another 15 minutes to get the table ready which was fine because we were late BUT mostly excited about the food. Our waiter (Trey) was wonderful kind, pleasant and Very patient taking our orders considering the size of our party--he was a NEWBIE which we would have never guessed. Anyway it all started when our friend did not accept her food because her food was very cold (all of ours actually) and she also sat right in front of the entry of the kitchen and said it was filthy in there. they were bring us wrong food to the table , we sent it back there we ordered 4 appetizers classic sampler, crab dip(free coupon) fries and onion rings it took until 6:30pm just for that. then we got our main meals another hour later lots of buckets and steam pots of crab dishes, lobster and shrimp, We well spent 300.00 dollars that night. well when our friend complained about her food the floor manager just keep shaking her head and agreeing with anything and left while our friend was talking to her in the middle of the conversation..and never returned.(our friend has a brain tumor and never goes out). So when it was time for the cake to arrive which i bought for her they came 20 minutes later to tell us there is no candles so instead they had her dress up like a cowgirl and had the whole restaurant sang to her. So when the bill came they had everyone's bills doubled mixed with others and so fourth, There were 5 different checks and They gave me a bill for 146.00 which should have been only 45.00 we had to send the waiter back 5 TIMES!!! because he claimed and was told by the person that calculates and submits the payments that they don't know why the machine doesn't take off items that's not supposed to be there and when they do it justs automatically puts it right back on there!!! each time he keep saying that like were gonna pay for the machines mistakes. Now this has been going on for another hour and half we have been waiting to pay the money for our bills. So then This HOUSE manager (Nick) comes to our table very hostlle and angry then demands what's the problem..we explain and he tells us that someone said WE WERE THREATENING TO LEAVE WITHOUT PAYING!!! HE was making accusations and lies about us in front of everyone!! how could a table of 15 leave with kids and disabled people move that fast...we told him we have been waiting for them to get the bills right for over 2 hours!!!...so when the birthday person got her bill they charged her the birthday cake anyways ......WHAT a Birthday!!!
I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS EVEN AT MCDONALDS!!!.... THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD AND EMBARRASSED FOR MY COUSINS BIRTHDAY....

I went to the Joe's Crab Shack at Arundel Mills in Maryland. The service was horrible. The food was even worst. The fish had more breading then fish. The crabs were over cooked and rubbery. The manager, Amanda and the regional Manager, Eric , were rude and unprofessional. I sent a complaint to the corporate office and got no response. So, I guess you don't care whether you lose business or not. I will never eat there again.

Last Wednesday 05/20/2015 my family of 8( me,5 children,my husband,and his service--medical-- dog ) took a trip from our rural boring Citronelle,Alabama home and took the 142 Miles (or better yet the 2 hours 35 mins trip to Destin, FL just to eat at Joe's Crab Shack due to all the RAVES and REVIEWS we have heard over the years about how wonderful of restaurant Joe's Crab Shack was/is! Understand , my husband is PARALYZED and BLIND and has a SEIZURE/SEEING EYE SERVICE DOG clearly marked with tags when we arrived at approximately 730pm, we had at least 35-40 people ahead of us, meaning the wait would of likely been in excess of an additional 1-2 hours.
In a show of absolute professionalism and ultimate show of her respect for my combat service-disabled paralyzed and blind war veteran husband, she( I believe her name was Tayanna) kindly approach each group ahead of us and politely asked if they minded if we could skip ahead towards the front of the line.Of all the people ahead of us, ONLY TWO DECLINED----so what was certainly going to be an eternity wait time---we waited ONLY 6 minutes before being seated and assisted by our wonderful waitress.IMMEDIATELY HER EXCELLENCE was evident, because upon being sited the young couple (in early 20's) sitting across from us STARTED LOUDLY COMPLAINING RUDELY and CRITICIZING my "WEAK MINDED" husband-----before I had a chance to get "PISSED OFF and literally slap the shit out of each of them and cause a big ruckus, your WAITRESS (KAITLIN I believe her name was) turned to them and demanded them to STOP their conduct IMMEDIATELY and that if the service dog OR my husband was an issue that they are free to leave and that she would GLADLY PAY THEIR MEAL for them. EMBARRASSED or ashamed for their unpatriotic actions previous that moment, they elected to actually stay and did not any longer cause a fuss or even look our direction. Furthermore, another one of your excellent servers, a taller black male in mid 20's, brought out FREE OF CHARGE and without us even asking (A GOOD THING!!!!) some food for my husband's service pet. Talk about EXCELLENT service! Name even one other place that has ever done that! Our server Kaitlin then took our drink orders and appetizers were suggested and we loved what she suggested and agreed to get two(2) orders of the 18 piece Bucket of Shrimp as well as 2 orders of Mozzarella cheese sticks. Was not very long into enjoying
our appetizers that she came to get our actual meal orders.Our order was as followed to the best of my recollection, I have lost the receipt so can not verify it perfectly but I am certain it is extremely similar to what I list below.

ARCTIC BAY STEAM POT
ANTARCTIC KING CRAB
2 ORDERS KING CRAB
THE RAGIN' CAGIN'
AND 3 KID'S CHICKEN MEALS.....OVERALL OUR MEAL TALLIED WELL OVER $350 AND AFTER TAXES AND 20% TIPS WE PAID APPROXIMATELY $430, AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST $430 WE HAVE EVER SPENT AND EVERY ONE OF US ENJOYED EVERY LAST MOMENT OF THE TRIP "BACK" (NOT SO MUCH THE TRIP GETTING THEIR BECAUSE KIDS WERE STILL AWAKE) BECAUSE OUR TUMMIES WERE FULL AND OUR MONEY WAS SPENT AS WELL AS WE EVER EXPECTED AND EVEN more-so. WE NOW SEE EXACTLY WHY JOE'S CRAB SHACK RANKS AS ONE OF AMERICA'S TOP 5 EATERIES----AND THE TOP SEAFOOD EATERY. IF I COULD AFFORD IT, I WOULD TAKE THAT NEAR 3 HOUR TRIP EACH AND EVERY DAY AND SPEND WHATEVER FUNDS TO REPEAT THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCES WE ALL RECEIVED WHILE AT YOUR FINE RESTAURANT.
****NOTE,SEVERAL ESTABLISHMENTS HAVE PREVENTED MY HUSBAND'S "CLEARLY" MARKED MEDICAL-SERVICE-SEIZURE-EYE DOG FROM ENTERING , ALLOWING ONLY FOR THE DOG TO STAND AT THE ESTABLISHMENT'S FRONT DOORS IF ONE OF "US" STAYED WITH THE PET----THIS INCLUDED SEVERAL WELL ESTABLISHED SO CALLED TOP OF THE LINE RESTAURANTS.
AGAIN, THANKS----MY ONLY COMPLAINT AND IT REALLY IS NOT ONE CONSIDERING EVERYTHING ELSE IS THAT WE DID NOT RECEIVE ONE OF THE KING CRAB ORDERS TO GO (DID NOT KNOW UNTIL NEXT DAY WHEN WAS LOOKING TO DEVOUR IT,LOL!) AND ALSO THAT WE WERE NOT OFFERED A VETERAN'S DISCOUNT (WHICH A LOT OF OUR NATION'S ESTABLISHMENTS FAIL TO OFFER ANY MORE) AND LASTLY WE WERE CHARGED AS A GROUP OF EIGHT(8) SO THE TIP WAS AUTOMATIC INCLUDED (WHICH WE ALWAYS PAY 20% ANYWAYS SO NO BIGGY) ALTHOUGH 1 MEMBER OF THAT 8 HAD TO BE THE DOG,LOL!!!
I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE SOMEONE FROM JOE'S CRAB SHACK CALL MY HUSBAND, HE WAS JUST SO OVERBLOWN BY HOW GREAT WE WERE TREATED HENCE WHY I AM WRITING THIS (ALTHOUGH I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY WHEN GOOD SERVICE IS RENDERED IT SHOULD BE MENTIONED JUST AS WHEN BAD SERVICE IS DELIVERED PEOPLE JUMP QUICKLY TO COMPLAIN).
