Bowie, Maryland location...I should just give up and take Texas Roadhouse off of my list of restaurants. I've stopped going once a week to once every six/seven months. Each time I'm disappointed. I see the other ratings and know why you have your corporate address blacked out.
Yesterday I placed an order for pick up. I was told 30 minutes. It was an hour. My money was taken immediately, but it took 15 minutes to get my change. I got my food 20 minutes after that. No eating utensils. No butter. And, the car next to me had multiple problems. He had to send the food server back serveral times to get his order right. Oh, and by the way, my broccoli was so over cooked that it was brown.

To Whom It May Concern:
My Husband, daughter and I were on our way back from a daunting day of dealing with putting my Mother-In-Law in a nursing facility. We drove 15 hours from NY to Missouri on Friday and back on Sunday, which is when we stopped at your restaurant for a lunch. With all of the activities of the day and the long, and I mean LONG travel day, my head was spinning to say the least. Our food was great and our server Anne was very sweet... but when I got 3 more hours down the road I realized I left my purse at the restaurant. Thankfully Anne took it to the office and a so kind manager by the name of Mary Crumley-Effinger from store 42 was beyond willing to help me out and have it shipped to me. I haven't received my purse yet, but I know I will soon. Its kind employees like this that make me want to support an organization. I hope you commend Mary for being so honest and helpful and retaining a customer with a simple gesture of helping another human being.

Enjoying a nice bottle of red wine is a staple when we dine out. Last night, my wife, daughter in law, granddaughter and I stopped at the Texas Roadhouse in Frederick MD. While we were dismayed that there were only about 4 red wine choices, we selected a Cabernet suggested by our waitress who returned a few minutes later and said they were completely out of red wine and offered us two choices of white wine, which we do not drink.
Completely out of a staple item on your menu is unexplainable and unexcusable. We then asked our waitress to advise her manager of our extreme displeasure to which our waitress replied "I will tell her" If our waitress told the manager, it is unconcionable that the manager never came to our table to explain the situation. Finally, our food was mediocre at best. Not only did you lose revenue last night at this establishment, you probably lost customers as this was a disastrous first impression for us.

When always have a good meal and experience at the Texas Roadhouse in Wake Forest NC. We have never had a problem with any of the employees. The biggest problem is the total lack of disrespect from customers towards workers, often teenage girls/boys trying to do their best. What is it with customers today? Are they taking out their stressful day towards the workers? I wish management at the restaurants could tell the rude customers to go to another restaurant. We see customers being belligerent about a table that is not good enough for them, a wait time when very busy that they seem to feel should not apply to them, inhaling a basket of rolls and demanding more, showing up with a party of 10 almost 20 minutes before closing time...and having an attitude when they are seated, customers getting in the face of teenage girls who work there and making them cry, and in some cases quitting. If you are one of these kinds of customers, stop for a minute and decide if that attitude is what you want your teenage son or daughter to be faced with all because some customer is not being catered to. The days of the customer is always right has become the customer is often rude. Please give your managers some leeway to stand up for their workers and lose a customer if that is what it takes.

The Davenport Texas Roadhouse is appalling. Someone really needs to go in and investigate their customer service. As someone in the restaurant industry it was absolutely terrible seeing this family treated the way they were. This family had a child in a wheelchair and the "host" or whoever the heck it was said they were not "set up" for wheelchairs and made this family wait. This family had to sit there and watch as others got sat before them. Please, send one of your corporate inspectors, and see what's really going on there. I will not be back

Yesterday my husband and I ate at Fredericksburg Virginia. My cesar salad had a fly in it. The waitress and the management thought it was funny. I took a picture of my salad. Very disappointed in their reaction. I will not go back.

On Saturday January 30, 2016 my husband and I went to Roadhouse Restaurant in Pharr, Tx for dinner. The food was good and on time. However, the noise factor was DEAFENING! The waitstaff had to practically scream to get our order, at times straining to hear us. Midway through the meal, the music was turned up even louder. We couldn't enjoy our meal because of the extremely loud music, which was totally unnecessary. We will never go back again.

I have never written a formal complaint to an orgainization for myself or family but I have to say that Texas Road House has treated not only my daughter but others who work for them with disrespect and uses them for every penny possible. She really needs this job so doesn\'t say much but she has gone home in frustration and disappointment. Not to mention as a server they don\'t deserve the treatment they get by those they serve. I am sorry and I am sure that Road House has many positive points. We have eaten there and the food is okay.

Today 15 May 2016, my wife and I with our son and granddaughter went to the Roadhouse in Universal City Texas for supper. We were greeted and taken to our booth. Drinks were delivered and we ordered. After forty minutes, we got our food our son ordered a Fort Worth Ribeye medium rare and got a overdone burnt steak. He sent it back and after 30 minutes got his steak to go. My wife and granddaughter went to the women's bath room. When they got back they said it actually stunk and papers all over the floor. Sinks were extremely dirty. The men's bath room smells so bad that I personally refuse to use it. You definitely need to take a look at this facility and how they are preparing food.

I AM IN COLORADO SPRINGS AT THE RH ON POWERS BLVD. AS SENIORS WE DON'T DO A LOT OF WINE AND DINE ANYMORE. BUT WE TOOK OUR BROTHER OUT FOR A MEAL. HE HAD A PORK CHOP. MY WIFE AND I HAD CHICKEN FRIED STEAK. I AM THE MEAT LOVE IN THE FAMILY. I HAVE IN THE PAST ENJOYED PRIME RIB TO TEXAS TE-BONE STEAKS AND HAVE NOT HAD A COMPLAINT. THIS AFTERNOON WE HAD JUST FINISHED BOWLING AND WERE A LITTLE HUNGRY. MY WIFE AND I LIKE CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN DINNERS; WELL LET'S MAKE THAT WE DID! WHAT THEY SERVED WAS NOT REALLY CHICKEN. PREVIOUSLY THE CHICKEN WAS A DE-BONED BREAST BREADED AND SERVED WITH GRAVY AND TWO SIDES. THIS MEAL WAS A PROCESSED CHICKEN MEAT PRESSED INTO A OBLONG PATTY. I COMPLAINED AND THEY FLEW THE MANAGER UP THE FLAGPOLE AND HE ASSURED ME TR HAS NEVER SERVED ANYTHING BUT WHAT WE GOT. HELL, IT DID NOT EVEN TASTE LIKE CHICKEN. IT WAS A PROCESSED CHICKEN PATTY; AND EVEN THAT IS A COMPLIMENT. WE ARE SO DISAPPOINTED AT TEXAS ROADHOUSE AND MOST LIKELY WONT DARKEN THEIR DOORWAY AGAIN. TEXAS ROADHOUSE SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO CALL THEIR ROADHOUSES "TEXAS" YOUR HOME OFFICE IS IN KENTUCKY; I AM A NATIVE KENTUCKIAN AND A MILITARY VETERAN OF 21 YEARS. THOSE ARE MY CREDENTIALS AND I SIR AM NOT LYING,

As a veteran I want to thank Texas Roadhouse for their support and generous offer of a free lunch today(11/11/14)for all veterans. The Little Rock, AR location was extremely busy and your manager kept the restaurant open an extra 2 hours to accommodate the numerous veterans who showed up for lunch. This tribute will not go unnoticed by our veterans and I will now encourage all my friends, veterans or not, to seek out your restaurant over others because of the excellent food and unbelievably exception service. You deserve, as does the entire Little Rock staff, special recognition for a job well done on this Veteran's Day.

The Bridgeville corporate owned store went from a hero to a zero in one day after the 3 years of weekly eating and thousands of dollars spent on what is excellent food and service. Within the last 3 months I had unforseen economic stressed and was working out with Pat, the owner food comps on a couple of tomes. I then would obviously not go to eat if I could not pay! I was with a friend of mine,he was drinking and eating, I assumed he was going to pick up my food tab, which he did not! I then because if I had known he was not going to pay and I knew I chas not enough to cover the tab, ask the co-owner to please cover my tab to be paid the next day.when I came back the next day to pay thetab, I was told that I was banashed from the restaurant and I was never to eat there again becaused I would be ask to leave if I showed up. I received an email winners notice for being a wonderful guest and waited at the bar to have my number reviewed was questioned why are you here, you know you are not being served sat with nothing, had my number revied, was gived a free appetizer winner and then was told it could not be redeemed there. Please leave. I will contact by phone July 5 to discuss further

"Today an acquaintance of my husband took his family to Texas Roadhouse in Davenport to eat. Because their son is wheelchair bound due to a degenerative disease that has no cure, they went early so they could miss the busy dinner rush. When they got there the place was practically empty, but when the hostess saw their son, she told them they weren't really "set up" for wheelchairs and that they would have to wait. Not wanting to make a scene they waited for an hour, all the while watching group after group come in and get seated right away. When the Dad finally got angry and let the hostess know how upset they were and how unfair the situation was, they were kicked out. Seriously, this crap happens at a place like Texas Roadhouse in this day and age?!?! That family has been through so much and will likely lose their son to this disease, that it breaks my heart to know that there are such mean spirited and cold hearted people out there treating them like they are a "problem" and not as worthy as others."-Kim Rigby McLaughlin
This was posted on Face Book only 12 hours ago (by someone not on my friends list, I do not know this person) and already 577 people have liked it, so it is safe to say that well over 600 people have already seen this posting and going by the comments most are outraged, myself included. I am ashamed to say I have recently eaten at this exact RoadHouse and I am embarrassed for you. You should be ashamed not me. If I could give you negative stars, I would give you as many possible.

My husband, son, his girlfriend and myself ate at the Goldsboro NC location on Dec 5, 2014. We all order steaks. My son ordered a 10oz ribeye rare. When our steaks arrived all of them had been grilled except my sons. His was cooked on a griddle. We called for the manager and he said that is how they cook rare steaks. I told the manager that if that is the way they cook their rare steaks (same as a pan with no side on it) they we just wouldn't come back. He said "okay". The manager had a very cavalier attitude. After that the "owner" (so he said) came over and again tried to convince us that you can't cook a rare steak on the grill because it get too done so they have to cook it on the flat top grill. (again a pan with not sides) My husband and I had taken our son and his girlfriend out for her birthday and I was embarrassed. Never in all my 55 years of living have I ever seen that a rare steak can not be cooked on a grill. I felt the owner talked down to me and had a superior attitude with quite a bit of arrogance. The owner said our complete meal was on him. I told the owner we did not want our meal paid for we just wanted a steak cooked rare on the grill. My son did get his rare grilled steak and by that time after all the arguing, none of us had much appetite. So if you want a rare ribeye panfried go to the Goldsboro NC Texas Roadhouse.

We stopped at the Texas Roadhouse in Peoria, AZ, 16079 North Arrowhead Fountains Center Drive, and were surprised to learn it\'s their policy not to give you back the change portion of your change. I asked the manager about it and she said we would have to go to the bar to get it. We had waited 45 minutes to be seated, 30 minutes to receive our food, and 10 minutes for our check to be brought, We did NOT want to wait in line to receive our coin change. If this is your policy, who gets the unclaimed change and how is it taxed? In a year\'s time this adds up to a lot of money. I would like to know if this is corporate policy.

Rochester, NY: If you have a large party and want a place that will accommodate you, DO NOT consider Texas Roadhouse!!!! After speaking to one manager two days before my family's event, I was told they have two locations in the restaurant that would allow my family to be seated together but, I had to call the other manager the day of the event. I called 3 hours prior to our arrival and was told by the manager that they could seat us together but that we may have to wait up to 45 Minutes. After waiting longer than 45 minutes, we were escorted to two booths, across from each other, which meant my family would be split apart. We refused the location and I insisted that the manager I spoke to on the phone come to speak to us. Our family of 12 was left standing in the center of the restaurant. The hostess meanwhile stated that an error had been made and they had sat smaller parties in the section that should have been reserved for my family. When the manager FINALLY approached us, he lied to my face that he had told me on the phone that there was no guarantee we would be seated together. He continued to argue with myself and the members of my family in the center of the restaurant surrounded by other patrons. We were not given any apologies or restitution for the excessive wait time and the inability to seat us together as promised by two managers. Thank God for Delmonico's Steak House!!! They were able to accommodate us with NO prior notice!!!

After positive experiences eating at Texas Roadhouse in Cheyenne, I have decided to discontinue patronizing this establishment. The policy for many years was that kids eat free with purchase of regularly priced entrees. My wife and I were told they changed the policy to 99 cents for kids' meals with regular purchase. As that wasn't too big a deal, we ordered our regular meals, expecting to pay a couple bucks more. When we got our check, we saw we were being charged full price for the kids meals. The waiter gave us a run around about how things were changing fast and the manager now told her to charge full price. When we complained she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. The manager was even worse, making no effort to correct their errors and acting arrogantly. It only takes one really bad experience like this to lose a customer for life. We used to eat at TRH at least twice a month. Never again; there are restaurants in Cheyenne that treat customers with honesty and respect, and we'll now spend our hard earned money with them.

After boycotting the local (Davenport, IA) Texas Roadhouse for about 3-4 years due to consistently bad service, my family and I went there this past Sunday night. Once again, the service was deplorable. First, we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Well, that part is to be expected. I don't know why you don't build larger restaurants that can seat a larger number of people. Then, we had to wait about another 20 minutes at the table before the waitress showed up to take our drink order. There were four of us. One ordered a soda. The other three ordered waters: one with lemon, one with extra lemon, one with no lemon. After this long of a wait, we were ready to give our food order at the same time but she turned and walked away as soon as she took the drink order. It was too loud in there for her to hear us call her back. Savanna (the stupid waitress) brought back 3 waters - all of which had one tiny sliver of lemon - and announced, "I couldn't remember who wanted what, so I brought this out." Wow. How hard of a drink order was that? What would have happened if we ordered mixed drinks or something really hard? So the person who didn't want lemon gave his to the person who wanted extra lemon. Then we waited and waited and waited and waited some more. We were finally able to grab her as she walked by and asked about the salads. TOO many times, the salad has arrived about 2 minutes before the food so we are left to scarf down the salad before the steaks get cold. She acted like she didn't even know what we were talking about and had to check her order pad. She finally brought out the salads. Then, low and behold, the ribeye/ribs combo I ordered only had the ribeye delivered. I had to ask for my ribs. Then, after waiting forever for her to return after we had long finished eating, she brought the check. Of course, it was wrong. It had the ribeye and the ribs billed separately instead of the combo price. So we had to wait again for her to come by so we could flag her down. When I pointed out the error, she said, "It all comes out to the same price anyway." Well, actually, NO, it does not. She took the check to fix it. Finally, we paid and left - 2-1/2 hours after arriving. What a horrible experience. On top of that, every time we had any kind of conversation with her, she was cocky and smart mouthed. On top of that, one time when she stopped by, I was in the middle of a conversation with my daughter and shaking my head 'no' over something my daughter had asked me. Savanna said, "Stop shaking your head." How about Savanna keeping her mouth shut? I have been completely pissed off at this particular restaurant ever since the facility has been opened but I have never taken the time to write a negative complaint. This Savanna person had to be the worst waitress I have ever seen in my entire 59-year existence. I will go back to boycotting this restaurant. There are only about a thousand others in the Quad City area where we can enjoy a nice meal.

I visited on June 23, 2017 and I had a wonderful evening. My soul reason for visiting was to have the Salmon, which I did. It was cooked just right, very moist, paired with the cheesy rice and broccoli was excellent!!! I also had Karena as our waitress, she was sweet, great oriented in customer service -she visited enough to make sure we were good but not overdoing it. She was well mannered, gracious and very pleasant to have as a waitress. Thank you so very much for the great night.
